Water Hydration

How important is drinking water on a daily basis? VERY important!

Our bodies are made up of 60% water and water has many benefits to the body, as well as the body’s systems.

✅Hydrates the muscles/tissues
✅Helps the kidneys filter out toxins
✅Starts the digestive process by stimulating production of enzymes
✅Drinking water on an empty stomach, helps to purify the colon making it easier to absorb nutrients
✅Increases the production of new blood cells
✅Can increase weight loss by stimulating the metabolism
✅Removes toxins from the blood which helps cleanse the skin
✅Helps to balance the lymph system
✅Helps to remove waste material through excretion

To replenish the body's water loss and needs each day, you should should drink HALF YOUR BODY WEIGHT IN OUNCES.

For those who are more active each day, that amount will increase above your body weight per ounce.

What type of water should you be drinking and how?

👉🏻Don’t drink tap water. You need to be concerned about chemicals and metals in the water system, including the corrosion of the pipes which can leach into the water.

👉🏻Bottled water is healthier, if it’s not purified tap water that’s been sitting in plastic bottles for months at a time. Glass bottles are best!

👉🏻Reverse Osmosis water isn’t the greatest because it take the minerals out of the water.

👉🏻Common retail filters like the Brita don’t remove all the chemicals and metals from water and there is no higher Ph (although it’s healthier than drinking tap water in most areas).

👉🏻Getting a whole house filtration system is a good idea, unless you don’t have the money (they can be expensive), or you don’t own a home.

👉🏻I personally love the Kangen machine. While a bit pricey up front, it has multiple Ph levels, it’s anti-oxidant, micro-clustered (small water cells for easier absorption) and can access a higher ph.

👉🏻The high the Ph of the water you drink, it will help to combat some of the acidity in the body, as well as make your body more alkaline, so pathologies and microbes can’t grow.
