The Sugar Free Epidemic

In today’s society, Human beings are consuming on average, over 150lbs of sugar every year, that’s 17 teaspoons of added sugar a day.

Our foods don’t seem to nourish us as much as they can make us sick.

Foods considered to be “sugar-free,” are less healthy than consuming foods with “real” sugar in them. Sugar-free means real sugars have been replaced with unhealthy sweeteners, additives and preservatives like:

❌Sucralose

❌High Fructose Corn Syrup

❌Aspartame

❌Agave Nectar

❌Galactose

❌Dextrose

❌Sucrose

❌Glucose

❌Lactose

❌Maltose

Just to name a few. These derivatives are chemically oriented, altered and enhanced, and could actually create damage to the body’s cells causing free radicals. Free radicals are unhealthy cells that spread throughout the body and can create and contribute to more acidity, inflammation and illnesses:

👉🏻Cancers

👉🏻Heart Disease

👉🏻Diabetes

👉🏻Neurological problems like ADD and ADHD

👉🏻Degenerative disorders like Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s

👉🏻Candida (yeast & fungus)

While some of these health issues and illnesses have other contributing factors like heavy metal, chemical and pesticide exposure, eating too much sugar and not nourishing your body with whole foods, can with cause or aid in the creation of these health issues.

Foods to stay away from:

❌Sugar-free foods

❌Processed foods

❌Fried foods

❌Alcohol

❌Sodas and fountain drinks

❌Fruit juices from concentrate

Fruit is considered natural sugar, for those who will ask. If you are eating foods with sugar, it is best to find those with natural sugars, like cane sugar.
